Walt Solinger -- Drums, Vocals

Walt picked up a set of drumsticks at the age of 12, and by Junior High was supplying a steady dose of "backbeat" for his first band, Roman's Rockers. "When I saw The Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show, I knew I had to be a part of what was happening in music. I also learned quickly that the beat was the backbone of rock-n-roll." Walt studied the drums under reknowned instructor Fred Albright for three years while in high school, and played the Westchester County club circuit with a number of bands, including The Trols, The Impossible Family, and Brother Rabbit, to name a few. Major influences include Ringo, Charlie Watts, and Billy Cobham. "Guys Night Out is the best band I've ever played with. Our musical chemistry is unparalleled, and allows the band and the audience to feed off of each other. Playing with this band is pure joy!"
