Bob Soave -- Guitar, Vocals

Bob cut his musical teeth at the age of 6 by playing the grooves off his Meet The Beatles LP. "Their sound really resonated with me and I couldn't get enough of those magnificent early tunes. Even then I would focus on the guitar parts, and I credit John and George for igniting my love for the instrument." Inspired by Eric Clapton's Cream-era work, Bob took up the guitar in earnest at 16. He studied guitar and music theory under Chad McLoughlin, and was most influenced by guitarists whose playing emphasized feeling and emotion. He also developed an appreciation for great rhythm players like Pete Townshend and Keith Richards. "I still marvel at how those guys combine chord voicings, single notes and pure rhythmic groove to paint the sonic picture." Bob played and jammed with lots of people over the years, but unlike the other Guys, he was never in a working band. That all changed after a chance meeting with Angelo and Walt in 2004. "We quickly realized we had some of the same musical DNA and decided to get together. I convinced my old friend Ed to come to the first rehearsal and by the third song the four of us had some serious chemistry happening." That started a string of weekly get-togethers and a decade later, he still looks forward to a Guys Night Out!
