Ed Busse -- Bass, Vocals

It was 1964... Ed was sitting in the backseat of his dad's Pontiac Bonneville when he first heard I Want To Hold Your Hand blaring from the vehicle's sound system. "Until that moment, I thought Mack the Knife was cutting edge, but nothing was the same after that day." Ed talked his dad into buying him a guitar, but found himself drawn to the rhythm section. He eventually bought himself a 4-string bass, and never looked back. He honed his skills in the 1980s by gigging regularly throughout the Hudson Valley with  Johnny K & the Western Nights, locking up the bottom for the local favorites.

After a nice run, the members of the band went their separate ways, and Ed put the bass down for 20 years. "As we like to say in Guys Night Out, sometimes life just gets in the way!" Through a series of fateful events, Ed hooked up with the other members of GNO for a couple of jam sessions, and they haven't let him out of their clutches since! "I never imagined in my wildest dreams that I'd be in a working band again, but I'm loving every minute of it! My rhythm section partner-in-crime, Walt, and I are completely "locked in" and I've never felt so musically satisfied." Ten years later, the fire still burns, and the bottom remains in good hands.
